Brickgowen family 2008
Hi! I’m Katie and the main blogger here at Brickgowen. My husband’s name is Micah and he occasionally pops in with a post. We have two boys, Parker (2008) and Jamison (2010).
The name Brickgowen comes from our last name and our love for our favorite toy. Our biggest hobby as a family is LEGO and we have just about every style of the bricks ever made. We start the boys early with Primo then get them moving into Quatro. By 16 months Jamison was already building with Duplo and Parker loves to help us build our LEGO sets.
While we do tend to post some things about LEGO on the blog it is pretty much a mishmash of all sorts of things. Our blog is a way to keep our family members updated so there tend to be lots of family oriented posts. I am part of a group of mommies that like to take pictures so I try to post those here. I love to cook but have a hard time remembering to take pictures of my food so while I will probably talk about food, I can’t guarantee I’ll actually do any actual food posts.
So there you have it. That’s Brickgowen in a nutshell. Probably a coconut shell rather than say, a peanut shell, but a shell none the less.
